RESOURCE
CENTER
A pioneer in urban recycling strategies, the Resource Center's approach is to tailor each program to the needs of the population it serves. Over 99% of what we pick up is used to make new products. We make every effort to employ people living near our recycling facilities, and to sell our material to local mills. We are Chicago's only non-profit recycler. Drop-off Recycling Resource Center operates recycling drop-off sites
at the following locations: "Download Guide to Proper Sorting and Recycling" Located in the 7-Eleven parking lot at
the intersection of Lincoln Avenue, Wrightwood, and Sheffield, this
site is a joint venture of the Resource Center, Wrightwood Neighbors,
and 7-Eleven. 1325 East 70th Street Chicago, Illinois 60637 (773) 493-1470 Accepts: aluminum and steel cans; brown, clear, and green glass bottles and jars; mixed paper, including cardboard; newspaper; yard trimmings and landscape waste.
