From the Director
. . .
The Resource Center has always had a unique perspective on the state of society and the role of a non-profit. We generate our programs by acting on what is right in moving society toward equality and sustainability, rather than by doing what is immediately financially profitable. The virtues we aspire to, equality and justice, appear more achievable, as they are integral to our organizing principle and to our daily operations. Resource Center's model of improving society is most simply: to discover resources--both human and material--whose value has been overlooked, and bring them together in a creative way to make a sustainable project into an element of sustainable community. This is an excellent moment to start or to continue your support of Resource Center programming. Your tax-deductible contribution goes directly toward building and strengthening our work. Consider, too, donating working vehicles, property, or estates to further our mission. Ken Dunn
